Yohance Levi Buie, an actor and singer who competed on The Voice Kids in 2016 and was only 17 years old, went away on November 10.
The talent management firm he was affiliated with, Virtual Playground Global, made the revelation on Saturday, November 11 via a post on its Instagram page.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yohance Levi Buie. We are deeply saddened by this loss, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time,” the post read.
“His passion and dedication to his craft were evident in every role he took on, and he will be remembered for the indelible mark he left on the world of entertainment,” the post continued.
Yohance’s remains will be on display at St. Peter’s Antipolo, and everyone who wishes to send their condolences and pay tribute to the young vocalist is free to do so.
The talent management organization encouraged everyone experiencing mental discomfort to seek quick assistance from neighboring emergency rooms and hospitals, even if the cause of his death was not disclosed.
Additionally, they offered the National Center for Mental Health’s (NCMH) phone numbers. Yohance demonstrated his acting abilities in the suspense thriller Day Zero in addition to his music.
