Wallace Thomas Nappier Death News: Former US Air Force Man Wallace Thomas Nappier Passes Away

On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, Wallace Thomas Nappier, 95, of Union Hill Community, Morgan County, passed away at the Decatur Morgan Hospital.

The oldest child of William Thomas Nappier and Etha Champion Nappier, he was born on August 2, 1928. He attended Union Hill School and graduated in 1945. He joined the US Air Force on October 25, 1951, and was honorably discharged on October 27, 1961.

When Frances Keisler Nappier passed away on February 23, 2023, they had been married for 63 years. He married her on March 20, 1959. He was retired from Saginaw and a member of the Shriners, Union Grove Masonic Lodge, and New Canaan Baptist Church.

His daughters, Karen Graham (Ken) of Decatur and Linda Allen (Kenny) of Union Hill, his grandchildren, Adam Lowe (Marina) of Land of Lakes, FL, Kristina Lowe (David) of Franklin, TN, Christopher Allen (Katie) of Wilmer, AL, and Jake Allen (Jada) of Loxley, AL, as well as their great-grandchildren, Angelina Lowe, Elyssa Lowe, Adysson Lowe, Cole Allen, Kyle Allen, Evelyn Allen, Ginny Allen, Clara Allen, and Houston Allen, are all living. Nick Jester and Eliza Jester are his bonus great-grandchildren.

William T. and Etha Nappier, his brother William “Bill” Nappier, and his wife Frances Nappier all preceded him.
