Troy James McConnell Obituary – Motorcycle Accident: 35-year-old man dead after deer-motorcycle collision in Anderson County.

After being struck by a car and a deer on a South Carolina roadway on Saturday afternoon, a man passed away.

Troy James McConnell, 35, was struck by a deer while riding his motorbike on Highway 247, and when he attempted to come off the road, he was struck by another vehicle, according to the Anderson County Coroner.

After being transported to the hospital, he passed away.

McConnell passed away from “multiple traumatic injuries secondary to blunt force trauma,” according to the coroner.

Investigation is ongoing.
