Todd Mumford Obituary-Death News; Delaware State FOP Vice President, Todd Mumford Passes Away from An Off-Duty Accident

Todd Mumford, the vice president of Delaware State FOP, sadly died in an off-duty accident, leaving the law enforcement community in shock. Everyone who knew him felt a shadow of melancholy after learning of the news late last night.

Our hearts are heavy with grief over the passing of a devoted law enforcement officer as we wake up today. In addition to being a coworker, Todd Mumford was also a beloved friend, guardian, and dedicated public safety advocate.

Todd Mumford devoted his life to community service, holding a number of positions in the Sussex County Probation Office and making a substantial contribution to the Governor’s Task Force in conjunction with Delaware State Police Troop 4.

As Vice President of the FOP State Lodge and in other leadership roles within the Fraternal Order of Police, his dedication to and support of law enforcement officers throughout the state were admirable.

He was a well-liked individual who touched the lives of many in the law enforcement community, particularly those in the Department of Correction and FOP Lodge 10, with his steadfast support and dependability.
