In the beginning of his rodeo career, Tristen rode sheep when he was only four years old. After a short time, he moved on to working with bulls and calves. While growing up, Tristen Hutchings participated in both wrestling and football. When he was in high school, he played football from the fifth grade all the way through high school, playing linebacker and defensive end.
