Shamar Walker Obituary; 9 Years Old Boy, Shamar Walker Passes Away In Fatal May Pen Shooting

Friday night in May Pen, Clarendon, nine-year-old Shamar Walker was shot and killed at a nearby shop in a terrible event.

A person of interest in relation to the incident has been identified by the Clarendon police, and they are pleading with Bryan Williams, 25, of Windsor Avenue, the parish, to turn himself in.

Shamar is a student from Railway in May Pen. He was at the shop watching television with a group of people when the attack happened, which occurred around 7:45 p.m.

After around thirty minutes, the attacker, a guy, burst into gunfire in the crowded room. Shamar tried to get away but was shot on the left side of his chest by a pursuing gunman.

Based on current police investigations, the target of the attack was identified as the 29-year-old female shop operator who was shot many times during the event.

She is in critical but stable condition in the hospital right now.

Residents hurried Shamar and the hurt woman to the hospital, but Shamar was declared dead when they got there. The lone shooter was able to get away from the scene.

In an effort to apprehend the offender, authorities are aggressively seeking leads, underscoring the pressing need for Bryan Williams to turn himself in so that he can be questioned regarding this horrific event.
