We regret to inform you of the demise of Sandra Ann Tyson, a cherished Fayetteville, Georgia, resident. On Sunday, February 11, 2024, Sandra, 80, went from this life and left behind a legacy of love and treasured memories.
Sandra was born in Dawson, Georgia, on October 14, 1943. Her parents were Lonnie Davis and Frances Hawke Davis.
Sandra was a lovely, caring person who had great affection for her family. Her parents, her devoted husband, Gary Green Tyson, and her sister, Jean Smith, all passed away before her.
In addition to her daughter Tammy Karen (Mike) Brooks of Jonesboro, Georgia, her sons Gary “Todd” (Lauren) Tyson of Gainesville, Georgia, and Troy Dean (Kelleigh) Tyson of Blue Ridge, Georgia, as well as eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two sisters, survive Sandra.
On Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM, Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Doerun, Georgia, will host a funeral service in Sandra’s honor.
Sandra had a profound influence on people in her local vicinity as well as on others.
Her kind disposition and giving heart made a lasting impression on the neighborhood she called home, touching the lives of many.
