Sam Bornhauser Obituary: Sadly Sam Bornhauser, a retired real estate agent from Columbia, Missouri, sadly passed away. His death devastated his friends and family.

“Yesterday, I lost another cousin Sam Bornhauser. Sam used to always say to me “I know I’m your favorite cousin”. I would say “yes, you are, you always have been.” The actual cause of Sam Bornhauser’s death has not been revealed.

Sam Bornhauser Career

In 1986, following a successful fifteen years of work in hospital software development and administration, he entered the real estate industry. He continued to serve in sales for fifteen more years, during which time he rose through the ranks to assume leadership positions and eventually owned a medium-sized real estate company in Columbia that was in operation for several years.

However, he was unable to get rid of the idea that he should return to his true passion. As a native of Columbia, having attended both Hickman High School and the University of Missouri, he witnessed the city’s explosive growth from a sleepy college town to the thriving metropolis it is today.

He continued to be actively involved in the community in addition to his professional pursuits by coaching young players in baseball, basketball, and football.

Furthermore, he was one of the first members and the president of the Hickman Touchdown Club. In addition, he was awarded the title of Jaycee of the Year and won further recognition for his services to other social groups and community organizations.
