Rontarious Hamilton Obituary News: 33-year-old killed, suspect in custody after Garland shooting; Isaiah Kellough arrest & charges.
The Garland Police Department is investigating a neighbor disturbance incident that led to a fatal shooting on Saturday.
According to the department, just after 7:30 PM on January 20, 2024, Garland Officers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Running River Road in regards to a Disturbance with a Weapon.
Officers arrived on the scene and located one individual outside of his residence who appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
The victim, identified as 33-year-old Rontarious Hamilton, was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance and was later pronounced deceased.
The preliminary investigation indicates there was a disturbance between neighbors, which escalated to gunfire. Officers on the scene located the suspect and arrested 18-year-old Isaiah Kellough for the shooting.
According to police, Kellough is currently in the Garland Detention Center charged with Murder. There is no bond set at this time.
Investigation is ongoing.
