He served with unrelenting devotion and commitment throughout his illustrious career, always prioritizing the security and well-being of others. After that, he was put to work on Ladder 37, where he demonstrated bravery and selflessness in the face of peril.
Pete accepted his promotion to Lieutenant in 1977 with pride and humility as a result of his exceptional service. After that, he was given a job at Engine 8, where he kept setting an example for the other firemen and won their respect and affection. In 1987, Pete’s career came to an end at Engine 52, where he distinguished himself and served the community with honor. He made incalculable contributions to the fire department, and everyone he worked with was inspired by his unwavering commitment to duty.

He was married to Kathleen for 62 years, and throughout that time they created a life full of love, joy, and priceless memories.
