Nicholas Stadtfeld Obituary News: VP of International Sales for LTX Nicholas Stadtfeld Passed Away

Nicholas William Stadtfeld, born on December 17, 1937, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024.

He graduated from Braintree High School and UMass Amherst with a degree in electronic Engineering.

Nick had a successful career with Teradyne and then as VP of International Sales for LTX.

At the end of his career, he started his own rep business, ATE, with his friend Bill McQueeney.

Once he retired, he and his wife Sue moved to Wolfeboro, where he continued an active life. He became a ski instructor at Gunstock, raced sailboats on Winni and Great East Lakes, dove for Milfoil on Balch Lake and played golf in the men’s league at Province Lake Golf Club.

He and his friend Lee Willson created BLIMP (Balch Lake Improvement Association), which continues to keep our lake milfoil-free.

Nick and his friend Hugh Rogers created the Marshmallow Man Triathlon.

Which is a wonderful community event still going strong 36 years later.

Nick leaves his wife Sue, his children Sharon, Jeff and Jon, five grandchildren, his sister Kathryn and her husband Don, plus many nieces and nephews.

All will miss his devilish personality and twinkle in his eyes.
