Musa Tuzuner Obituary; Gannon University Associate Professor Musa Tuzuner of Erie, Pennsylvania has sadly passed away. He died leaving family and friends devastated.

Musa Tuzuner Career

Since 1990, Musa has worked extensively in academic and research institutions, as well as national and international law enforcement and security agencies. He held important positions in the organization and management of counterintelligence and counterterrorism operations during his tenure in the government sector as a specialist in law enforcement, intelligence, and counterterrorism.

In addition to actively participating in UN peacekeeping operations in Kosovo, he helped Interpol identify and apprehend criminals and dismantle illicit networks.

Musa served as Turkey’s Chief Inspector General of Police till the end of his illustrious career. His academic career culminated in a Ph.D. in Political Science from Kent State University, where he was recognized for his outstanding research on intelligence cooperation and received the Dissertation Award.
