Motorcycle Accident McPherson, KS: 37-year-old motorcyclist in critical condition after motorcycle-utility truck collision at K153 & Ironhorse Rd.

According to the McPherson County KS Sheriff’s Office in a media release, at approximately 10:10AM on Monday, October 9, 2023, deputies were dispatched to a traffic collision at K153 & Ironhorse Rd. Upon arrival, deputies found that a Kawasaki Motorcycle had collided with a yellow Ford F75 utility truck.

The driver of the motorcycle received lifesaving aid from McPherson EMS and Fire. The 37-year-old male was transported to McPherson Hospital and then later flown to Wichita by LifeWatch helicopter, authorities said.

According to authorities preliminary investigation and witness statements indicate that the driver of the motorcycle was attempting to pass the utility vehicle who was attempting to make a left-hand turn at the time of the collision.
