Mike Stewart Motorcycle Accident; Mike Stewart unexpectedly departed away. The official date of his death was Friday, October 27, 2023. After hearing of his untimely demise, he left behind many broken hearts. All of us who had the pleasure of getting to know him during his life will always miss him.
With heavy hearts we share with you that yesterday afternoon, Nov 11, our National Director Mike Stewart was killed as he returned home after participating in our Lakeland Chapter’s 8th Annual Buddy Ride. Following the event’s conclusion, Mike rode home alone on his motorcycle, and while waiting at a stoplight near East International Speedway Boulevard and West Parkway in Volusia County FL, an SUV hit him from behind. Diane and their family are in shock, as are we. Please lift Diane, her family, and our ministry in prayer as we mourn Mike’s passing. As memorial details become known we will communicate them to the best of our ability.
What happened to Mike Stewart?
Mike was murdered by a car as he was being driven home after participating in the 8th Annual Buddy Ride organized by the FAITH Riders Motorcycle Ministry Lakeland Chapter. After the event, Mike rode his motorcycle alone home. On the way home, he was hit from behind by an SUV when he was stopped at a stoplight at East International Speedway Boulevard and West Parkway in Volusia County, Florida. Mike was admitted to the hospital with severe wounds.
