According to reports, at about 3 in the morning on Friday, November 10, 2023, there was gunfire on Belfair Drive close to the North Acadian Thruway. Later on Friday morning, the victim of the shooting was named as 44-year-old Michael Williams.
According to reports, what transpired before to the shooting and whether any arrests were made were not disclosed by the Baton Rouge Police Department.
