Michael Petty Obituary News: Michael E. Pety, 67, of Piqua, Ohio, died on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 2:10 p.m. at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. The Upper Valley Medical Center is in Troy, Ohio. He was born on June 7, 1956, in Painesville, Ohio. Both of his parents, Leo and Meralou (Edmonds) Petty, had died in the intervening years.
Michael left behind five children: Lea Petty, Kristina Petty, Mike Petty, Lindsey Grimm, and Zachary I. Petty in Piqua, OH; three brothers: Ronald Petty, Denison, TX; Randy Petty, Painsville, OH; Terry Petty, Troy, OH; three sisters: Joyanne Jones, Madison, OH; Melody Petty, Tallahassee, FL; and Jacy Petty, Painsville, OH; nine He was preceded in death by one brother, Jamie Petty, and one grandson, Ashton Grimm.
Michael’s military service in the United States Army was regarded as patriotic. He earned an associate’s degree in intergrade technology systems after finishing his studies at Edison State Community College. He spent six years of his forty-eight years as a mechanic working for K&N Automotive in Piqua. He worked there for the duration of his career.
Michael informed the others of his religious relationship with strawberry jam. In his spare time, he enjoyed target shooting, model rockets, music, collecting lighters, fishing with his grandchildren, thrift shopping, and yard sales.
Furthermore, he enjoyed participating in these activities. He enjoyed spending time with his cat Pandora and seeing his grandchildren participate in sports. These were two of his favorite activities. Michael’s family has indicated a desire for his funeral services to be held at a time that is convenient for him.
