On January 17, 2024, Canadian musician, tattoo artist, and graphic designer Martin Lacroix passed away. His hometown was Montreal, Quebec.

Canada produced the well-known musician Martin Lacroix. For the death metal bands Spasme, Serocs (2014–2015), and Cryptopsy (2001–2003), he sang lead vocals.

As a graphic designer, Martin designed album covers and logos for numerous Canadian metal bands.

His most well-known performance was with Cryptopsy between 2001 and 2003; he was the only vocalist on their live CD None So Live. He was asked to leave Cryptopsy since he could not communicate with the band’s global fan base because he only spoke French well.
