In loving memory of Jacksonville USPS worker killed in Tuesday crash on 103rd and Lamping Road.

The identity of the woman who died in an accident on Tuesday while operating a mail truck has been revealed.

Marquite Scurry, 40, was the casualty of the crash, according to her family.

Scurry was described as a “loving, caring” mother of five children by her cousin. She was a dedicated worker who enjoyed baking and cooking.

Her cousin added, “She was deeply loved by family.”

At the time of the mail truck collision on 103rd and Lamping Road, Scurry was employed by USPS.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, there were two more cars involved. Both a 45-year-old and a 58-year-old had minor injuries.
