Luis Suarez Obituary News- Former Barcelona Player Passed Away At 88

Luiz Suarez was a well known and respected football player for Barcelona and Inter Milan midfielder, before he successful retirement from football.

The legend footballer was recorded as the only male footballer that was born in Spain to win the Ballon d’Or before his retirement.

Luiz Suarez has peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at the age of 88, whose cause of death remain unknown but is said to have died a natural death of old age.

Luiz Suarez was popularly known by his nickname “The Architect” the Spaniard won the prestigious award in 1960 and later coached La Roja at the 1990 World Cup.

His death news was announced by Barcelona stating that, “Luis Suarez Miramontes has died this Sunday in Milan at 88 years old, he played for Barca between 1954 and 1961 before going to Inter Milan, where he is also a legend.”

Luiz was known as the most celebrated midfielders at Inter Milan under coach Helenio Herrera in the 1960s, whom he followed from Barcelona, who will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace.

The Legend player began his career at Deportivo La Coruna, before moving to Barcelona in 1954, and won two La Liga trophies with the Catalan giants, among other silverware and earned the Ballon d’Or.
