Leon Bowser Obituary News: Longtime Resident Of Oshawa, Ontario, Leon Bowser Passed Away

On February 9, 2024, at the age of 80, our much loved Leon Keith Bowser, of Oshawa, Ontario, departed from this life in a calm and serene way.

He had been an Oshawa resident his entire life.

Our parting from him will be necessary, and we do so with sorrowful hearts. The memories of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him will always be treasured by those who did.

Prior to Leon’s death, his brother Ivan and his parents, Ray and Jean Bowser, both passed away.

Marilyn, his devoted wife, passed away before him. After he passes away, a number of people will be in charge of continuing his legacy, including his siblings Earl and Diane Bowser, as well as his children Kevin Bowser (Lynn), Kim Amos (Gary), Sherri Biggar (Ed), and Susanne Meathrel (Mike).

Leon has left behind a legacy that his grandchildren and great-grandchildren are continuing for future generations.

A viewing to celebrate Leon’s life will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home, located at 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario L1J2L4, on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Furthermore, the screening is scheduled for that same day. Since all of the arrangements have been made, a memorial service will take place at the same site on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 1:30 p.m.

The service will be livestreamed on the website that you can visit by clicking on the link provided below, [https://pickartphoto.com], in the event that you are unable to attend in person.

The family has asked that memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society be made in Leon’s memory, rather than flowers.

I sincerely appreciate your consideration of my request. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for all of your assistance during this trying period.
