Kristyna Keenan Obituary Ohio: 60-year-old woman killed in State Road shooting in Ashtabula.

Ashtabula County Sheriff William Niemi confirmed that on Thursday night, when a woman was shot and killed early in the evening along State Road, law enforcement authorities were looking for a dark-colored Volkswagen Jetta.

Kristyna Keenan, 60, was the victim’s identity, according to Chief Investigator Amber Stewart of the Ashtabula County Coroner’s Office.

According to Stewart, the sheriff’s department is still looking into it. She is being sent to Cleveland to have her cause of death and further investigation done.

Stewart stated that the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy.

Authorities confirmed that between 6 and 6:30 p.m., the department got a report of gunfire on State Road, just north of the Route 20 intersection. “Units were close by and discovered the victim and she was deceased,” Niemi said.

When the coroner’s investigator showed up, according to the sheriff, the body was taken away by 8 p.m.

Investigation is ongoing.
