Kaneland High School Car Accident: Kaneland High School student involved in crash that killed motorcyclist on Monday.
Tragically, on Monday, a motorcyclist lost their life following a collision with a car operated by a student from Kaneland High School in close proximity to the school.
In a recent news release issued by the Kane County sheriff’s office on Monday evening, it was reported that a student behind the wheel of a grey Subaru reportedly exited the premises of a local school and collided with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle along Keslinger Road.
The Subaru driver has been transported to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva.
The name of the motorcyclist has not been disclosed by authorities at this time, as they are awaiting the notification of next of kin.
According to a statement released by the district, numerous students were reported to have witnessed the crash.
According to a statement from the school district, Keslinger was closed from Meredith to Dauberman roads as authorities investigated the crash.
