Josh Durbin Obituary-Death News; Lincoln Illinois Police Officer, Josh Durbin Passes Away From Suicide By Shooting
A valued cop died suddenly on Saturday, and the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and the Lincoln Police Department are in grief. 36-year-old Josh Durbin died from an apparent suicide by shooting at the Casey’s General Store in Sherman, Illinois. Joshua was a happy, involved police officer as well as a devoted father.
The residents of Springfield, Illinois, and Logan County as a whole are in deep sorrow over the cop’s untimely passing. “Praying for all of our friends at the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln, Illinois Police Department, and more today.”
At 270 Crossing Drive in Sherman, there was a complaint of gunfire at Casey’s General Store, prompting the response of Sherman Police.
When the police arrived, they found a 36-year-old man who had apparently shot himself in the head. We are withholding identification until family members are notified.
The Sangamon County Coroner’s Office and the Sherman Police Department are still looking into this death.
