John Williams Car Accident:48-Year-old Man, John Williams killed Turlock, California Car Crash

A beloved high school basketball coach is being honored for his colorful life after dying in a car accident in Turlock, California, just minutes before he was supposed to coach a game.

The Turlock Police Department reported its response to a “three-vehicle traffic collision” that happened near the intersection of W. Christoffersen Parkway and Kilroy Avenue last Friday at around 4 p.m. local time, according per a statement posted on Facebook.
According to the police, a 48-year-old man identified as John Williams on a GoFundMe page passed away from injuries he suffered in the crash.

In order to receive the necessary care, other incident participants were also transported to adjacent medical facilities.

Williams was traveling to John H. Pitman High School to assist as an assistant coach for a girls’ basketball game that was set to begin at 5 p.m. that evening after attending two other games at different schools earlier in the day, according to reports from The Turlock Journal and ABC affiliate KXTV. The collision occurred while he was traveling from Turlock High School, according to KXTV.
