On Saturday, November 11, John Abston’s wife and co-founder NOLA T-Shirt of the Month Club announced his passing via a statement shared on the business’ Facebook page.
“It is with incredible sadness that I share the news of the sudden and tragic passing away of my husband and co-founder John Abston,” the statement said.
His cause of death was not mentioned.
John and his wife began The NOLA T-Shirt of the Month Club in large part in 2015. John loved New Orleans; he loved the people, the local artists, the small businesses, gumbo, Tipitina’s, Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, The Saints and so much more.
