The Pawtucket Police Department is currently looking into a tragic shooting that happened in Pawtucket on Friday morning, which claimed the life of 30-year-old Jocelyn DoCouto.

Pawtucket resident Jocelyn DoCouto was fatally shot in a shooting incident close to Central Avenue.

The fact that the incident happened as she was leaving her place of employment made the tragedy worse.

According to Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves, Jocelyn was pronounced dead on the spot.
