Jennifer Wingate Car Accident; A Band Director And Girl’s Soccer Coach, Jennifer Wingate Passes Away In A Fatal Car Accident
Unluckily, Jennifer Brooke Wingate, a devoted band director and girl’s soccer coach at Saluda County High School, passed away in a vehicle crash.
The community is in shock as a result of the occurrence, and they are grieving the loss of a beloved person who was integral to their way of life.
Jennifer Wingate, who was lovingly referred to as “Jen,” was a lively individual who lived in Lexington, South Carolina.
She had already had a big influence on the teachers and students at Saluda Middle and High Schools at the age of just 34. Her life was abruptly ended just short of turning 35, leaving a hole that will never truly heal.
Wingate was an avid sports and music fan and a recent graduate of Newberry College. She blended her passion for both band and girls’ soccer coaching at Saluda County High School, encouraging her students to aim for greatness in whatever they did.
Her contagious passion and nurturing demeanor fostered a positive learning atmosphere where her children could flourish.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, there was a deadly collision on Lake Murray Boulevard in the 1300 block. Jennifer was identified by Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher as the fatal accident victim.
The community is in shock over the abrupt loss and is trying to come to terms with the premature passing of a friend and beloved teacher.
In relation to the incident, 31-year-old Chelsie B. Pittman has been charged. She is being prosecuted for three felonies: driving under the influence, third or subsequent crime; habitual offender, causing death when license has been canceled, suspended, or revoked.
It will be remembered that Jennifer Brooke Wingate was a gifted, funny, kind, and compassionate lady. Her daily acts demonstrated her dedication to her kids and her passion for education.
