Jacksonville Car Accident: Man killed, two injured after Tuesday car-pedestrian crash on Jacksonville’s Northside.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a fight broke out early on Tuesday on Jacksonville’s Northside, resulting in the death of one man and the serious injuries of two others.

Three people were struck by a two-door Chevrolet on Starratt Road after an altercation involving two men and a woman ended in the street, according to the police.

A man in his mid-30s was declared deceased on the spot. The other two people had severe but non-life-threatening injuries, and they were sent to a nearby hospital.

The driver of the car is assisting detectives, according to police, and was not involved in the altercation. Police stated there were no indications of impairment.
