Jack Richardson Obituary News: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Beloved Resident Died After Battle With Cancer

After a prolonged and courageous fight against cancer, the family of Dartmouth resident Jack Richardson announced his passing on January 13, 2024.

With loved ones by his side, he won’t ever leave our hearts and he will always be remembered.

Jack was born in Halifax. He was the son of Florence and the late Wilfred Richardson.

Mary (Anderson), his wife of 33 years; grandson, Zoey, Valley, NS; brother, Bud Richardson (Carol); brother-in-law, Danny Anderson (Martha); sister-in-law, Barbara MacDonald; nieces and nephews, Kevin, Derek, Amber, Ryan, Ashley, Cody, Todd, and Chad; and numerous close friends will lament his passing. Sisters Freda and Sheila, as well as grandson John Wyatt Little, predeceased Jack.

Jack has had a lot of passions throughout his life; he has an entire room filled with anything fire-related since he loves fire vehicles.

Over the years, Jack and Mary have had numerous experiences and have delighted in traveling.

Lately, Jack has been enjoying staying at their camper in Wilmot, which is a short drive outside of Middleton.

Jack and his friends played washer toss, drank ice caps, and listened to Golden Oldies for several hours while lounging by the fire.

Numerous instances demonstrate that Jack was a well-liked individual; he enjoyed every phone call, visit, and check-in from friends, relatives, coworkers, and members of the Salvation Army, which is also known as Mary’s work or the honorary work family.
