Jace Norus Obituary – Death: Port Charlotte High School Pirate Football Coach, Jace Norus Dies At 27

Jace Norus Obituary News; Coach Jace Norus of the Pirate football team at Port Charlotte High School has sadly died away. He passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the age of 27, shocking his family, friends, and the entire school.

In a publication published on Sunday that said, “Everyone in Charlotte county knows how big of an impact you made,” he was declared deceased. You were a fantastic husband, coach, brother, and friend. As of right now, no cause of death has been identified.

Jace Norus Career and Education

Jace Norus, a former offensive lineman, started his coaching career right away after graduating from Port Charlotte High School only two years before.

Despite still only being a sophomore in college, his was determined to start coaching right away. He steadily advanced up the coaching ladder inside the Pirates system throughout the years.

When he finally finished his education, he transitioned smoothly into PCHS’s staff directory, taking on the positions of assistant athletic director and offensive line coach under Ingman.

Norus remained faithful to Port Charlotte despite having enticing offers from other colleges with better pay and perhaps more recognition, giving his time and expertise to the football team.

His infectious energy was felt at every Port Charlotte football practice even though he wasn’t actually there.
