We announce the demise of Mr. Isaiah G. Brown Jr., also lovingly known as “Bubba,” of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, with great grief. Isaiah quietly transitioned into everlasting rest on Thursday, February 15, 2024, leaving behind loving memories and a legacy. “I’ve completed the tasks that life has given me, so get me on a boat and sail away. Send along my fishing pole, please. I have received an invitation to the fishing hole. This moving poem captures Isaiah’s final remarks, which express his enjoyment of life’s small pleasures and his strong bond with the sea. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unwavering love as he sets out on his final voyage.

Brown Jr., who was well-known for his gregarious nature and joyful disposition, stepped upon God’s celestial shores. His grandpa, Ransom M. Stiney, and parents, Isaiah G. and Edith S. Brown, both passed away before him.
A legacy of affection and treasured memories is left by Isaiah. His cherished children, LaJoy M. Brown, Ikeiylah Brown, Jordan Hall, Genora Gadson, Joseph Green, and Tamika Green, as well as his lifelong companion Glenna Green, survive him. Many devoted family members and friends, including his sister Valerie B. Mills, are in mourning for him. Isaiah’s life served as an example of the strength of compassion, generosity, and love.
