Iain Purslow Obituary News: Longtime Bolton Wanderers Supporter, Iain Purslow Dies Unexpectedly

Iain Purslow Obituary: Iain Purslow, a dedicated fan of Bolton Wanderers, has sadly passed away. Iain Purslow’s death was confirmed today. He had to leave the game early yesterday due to illness. He experienced a possible cardiac arrest during the first half of the game.

Iain Purslow, 71, was given continuous CPR treatment by medical staff and paramedics at the stadium. Regrettably, he was later taken to the hospital, where he passed away in a tragic manner. Iain, a resident of Oldham, attended the game to support the Whites with his son Stuart.

The chaplain of the club, Phil Mason, remained with the family throughout the day, and the club is dedicated to providing them with continuous support and care. They also offer their support to anyone else impacted by this distressing incident.

The Bolton Wanderers extend their heartfelt condolences to Iain’s family and loved ones during this profoundly tragic period. Iain’s presence will be honored during the Wanderers’ FA Cup third-round replay against Luton Town on Tuesday night.

The club appreciates the assistance from fans and medical personnel as well as the cooperation and understanding of everyone in the stadium on Saturday, including the Cheltenham visitors.
