Hendry Nunez Car Accident: In a tragic incident early Monday morning, a 47-year-old man, Hendry Nunez, met his untimely demise when his vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler travelling in the wrong direction on Interstate 83.

The collision resulted in a horrifying chain of events that sent Nunez’s car tumbling over an embankment, as confirmed by the York County Coroner’s Office.

A comprehensive autopsy conducted on Nunez at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown revealed the devastating cause of his death: multiple blunt force injuries inflicted during the catastrophic accident. This heart-wrenching crash unfolded in the southbound lanes near mile marker 19 on I-83, as reported by the York County Coroner’s Office, with their swift response at 2:52 a.m.

Pennsylvania State Police, entrusted with investigating the calamity, disclosed that the driver of the tractor-trailer, in a perplexing move, attempted to access the interstate by heading north on the southbound off-ramp, directly into oncoming traffic.

Meanwhile, the second vehicle, driven by Nunez, was traveling south on the interstate when it collided with the massive 18-wheeler. The impact sent Nunez’s vehicle hurtling over an embankment, ultimately overturning and coming to a rest against a tree.

Hendry Nunez tragically lost his life at the scene, an outcome certified by York County Deputy Coroner Michele Kirchner, who promptly arrived at the distressing scene.

The condition of the truck driver involved remains uncertain, according to the coroner’s office. Furthermore, there is no information available from the state police regarding potential citations issued to the truck driver in connection with this devastating crash.
