Description

The next morning, everyone in the house was peaceful, except for Babah Lantana. She was struggling with traffic and complaining about how it was ruining her day. She was also worried about her daughter, Asabe, who had been bitten by a rat the day before. Asabe was in a lot of pain and feverish, and Babah Lantana was afraid that she might get sicker.

Mallam Bahago, the village healer, came to see Asabe. He gave her some medicine and told her to stay in bed. Babah Lantana was relieved that Asabe was getting the care she needed, but she was still worried about her. She knew that Asabe was a strong girl, but she also knew that she was still young and vulnerable.

Babah Lantana decided to go to the market to buy some food. She was hoping that a change of scenery would help her to relax and forget about her worries. As she walked through the market, she saw a woman selling a beautiful necklace. The necklace was made of gold and silver beads, and it was set with sparkling stones. Babah Lantana had never seen anything so beautiful before.

She went up to the woman and asked how much the necklace cost. The woman told her that it was very expensive, but Babah Lantana didn’t care. She had to have the necklace. She paid the woman and put the necklace on. As soon as she did, she felt a sense of peace and happiness.

She walked home with a smile on her face. She knew that everything was going to be okay. Asabe would get better, and she would be able to enjoy her new necklace.

Babah Lantana’s story is a reminder that even in the midst of difficult times, there is always hope. When we are faced with challenges, it is important to remember that we are not alone. There are people who care about us and want to help us. We just need to reach out for help.
