Who is Gustavo Baddel?
However, when he was around 22 years old, Badell moved to Puerto Rico from Venezuela where he was born. Since then, he has resided there. He began coming to the gym and lifting weights at the age of fifteen in order to bulk up for boxing.
At the age of 19, Gustavo entered and won his first bodybuilding competition, the 1991 Junior Caribbean Bodybuilding Championships, after rapidly gaining an extraordinary amount of muscle mass. His reason of death wasn’t made public right away.
Gustavo was able to win the Caribbean Championships in 1997 and hand over his career to a professional after six years of strength training.
Gustavo made his debut with the federation in 1998 when he competed in the International Federation of BodyBuilders Grand Prix of Germany. He competed in the 1999 edition of the International Federation of Bodybuilders Night of Champions, now called the New York Pro.
In the end, he came in at position 14 in the contest. He first participated in the Ironman Pro Invitational in 2000, where he placed 18th. He entered the Mr. Olympia competition in 2002 and placed 24th on his first attempt.
Gustavo placed sixth in 2004, his first year of competing in the Arnold Classic. Before he started placing higher in 2003, his professional placements were not all that outstanding. This was partly because of the help he got from Milos Sarcev, a different professional bodybuilder.
Badell has been featured on the cover of Flex magazine in addition to appearing in several fitness and magazine articles.
