Erna D. Stadelmann, who was 92 years old and lived in Joliet, Illinois, went away on a tranquil note with her loved ones by her side. Since her retirement, Erna has been a member of the Joliet Zonta organization. She is also the proprietor of Decor Interiors and a retired interior designer. Everette Baylor and Lena (née Cates) Baylor are her parents. She is their daughter.
Erna is survived by her daughters, Wrendia DeVary of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Shelly DeVary Bress of Cave Creek, Arizona; her grandsons, Jeremy (Tricia), Tim, and Mike Bress; and five great-grandchildren. Furthermore, Erna is survived by her great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Richard W. Stadelmann, who she had been married to for 44 years, passed away before she did.
On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, Fred C. Dames, located at 3200 black Rd (at Essington Rd) in Joliet, Illinois, will be the location of the visitation for Erna D. Stadelmann. The visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. After then, the burial will take place in the Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook, Illinois.
