Emma Shafer Springfield Death News: Emma Shafer, 24, was the victim of a fatal stabbing in Springfield, Illinois, and she perished suddenly. Emma was discovered dead inside a home in Springfield’s 1000 block of South 8th Street, where she had suffered an extreme blunt force trauma, according to Springfield police.

Authorities reportedly arrived at the location after getting a phone from a lady in Bethalto who said that her brother could have hurt his Springfield-based girlfriend.

Around 11:30 p.m., Sangamon County Dispatch officials were called to the area and discovered a 24-year-old woman with what appeared to be stab wounds.

On-site medical personnel declared Emma Shafer dead. The suspect, who has only been described as Emma Shafer’s boyfriend, was allegedly detained for murder in connection with Emma’s passing. Investigators claim that Emma was stabbed numerous times.

According to investors, homicide is suspected as the cause of her death. She was kept anonymous until police got in touch with her family and performed an autopsy.
