Edith Rivas Obituary-Death News; 26 Year Old Woman, Edith Rivas Fatally Shot To Death In Central Phoenix
In the late hours of Thursday night, a woman was discovered dead inside a residence located in the central area of Phoenix.
With reports of a shooting, the Phoenix Police Department was dispatched to the vicinity of 13th Avenue and Mohave Street, which is located just north of Interstate 10, at approximately nine o’clock at night.
Edith Rivas, who was 26 years old at the time, was discovered by the officers who arrived where she had been shot at least once. Although she was in severe condition when she arrived at the hospital, she ultimately passed away.
Investigators were able to identify and detain Gary Parchinog, who is 34 years old, in connection with the murder of Rivas while they went about their business throughout the night. Maricopa County Jail was the location where Parchinog was booked.
Within the course of a few hours, this was the first of two gunshots that resulted in fatalities. In the vicinity of three hours following Rivas’s passing, another woman was shot at an apartment complex located in the central section of Phoenix.
Although she was taken to a hospital, she ultimately succumbed to her injuries and passed away.
