Dmitry Feld Obituary: Dmitry Feld, the Marketing Director of the USA Luge Association, has sadly passed away at the age of 68 in Lake Placid, New York. Tragically, he passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, after bravely fighting leukemia, leaving his loved ones and colleagues in a state of shock and disbelief.

Dmitry Feld Career

Dmitry went on to become a coach for athletes in the states of New Jersey and New York City. In 1984, USA Luge extended an invitation to Dmitry to transfer to Lake Placid, where he was hired as a development coach as part of the organization.

Dmitry has dedicated his life to supporting driven athletes, and he has had the privilege of working with notable individuals such as Gordy Sheer and Mark Grimmette. Not only were these athletes chosen for the national squad, but they also participated in the Olympics and achieved success by winning medals.

Through his participation in the Olympic Games, Dmitry developed a strong commitment to making a positive impact, focusing on community engagement at both local and global levels.

He has shown a strong dedication to both supporting athletes in the challenging sport of luge and promoting volunteer work.
