Desmond Rowe Car Accident Arkansas: In loving memory of Lake Village man killed in Sunday crash near Dermott.

31-year-old Desmond Rowe of Lake Village, passed away on Sunday night, December 3, 2023, at about 8:49 p.m. after his 2010 Dodge Challenger crashed on Arkansas 208 close to Dermott (Chicot County).

A preliminary assessment from the Arkansas State Police states that Rowe was traveling quickly westward when he failed to yield to a left-hand curve in the road. He was ejected from his vehicle after it overturned and collided with an embankment after leaving the north side of the highway. In the roadside ditch, the automobile came to rest upright and looking west.

With Rowe’s passing, there have been four car crash fatalities in the Dermott region this weekend. On Friday afternoon, a two-vehicle collision on US 165 claimed the lives of three persons.
