Davide Renne, the newly appointed creative director of Moschion has passed away, the Aeffe company makes official statement.
We regret to inform you of the passing earlier today in Milan of Davide Renne, a well-known figure in the fashion world. “It is with deep sorrow and great sadness, Moschino announces that Davide Renne passed away on November 10th, 2023 in Milan,” the brand said in an official statement following the devastating news.
Aeffe SpA Chairman Massimo Ferretti expressed his sorrow, saying, “There are no words to describe the pain we are experiencing at this dramatic time.” Davide was only with us for a few days when he unexpectedly passed away from an illness. We are still in shock about what transpired.
We were working on a big project along with Davide, and the atmosphere was one of excitement and hope for the future. Davide was able to win our respect and affection right away, despite his brief presence with us. It is now our duty to continue what his brilliance and imagination could only have dreamed up. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends,” Aeffe SpA Chairman Massimo Ferretti adds.
Davide Renne, who succeeded Jeremy Scott as Creative Director of Moschino less than a month ago, has a spectacular resume that includes two decades of success as Gucci’s Head Designer of Womenswear. We are sending our sympathies to his friends, family, and coworkers during this trying time.
