Dara Griffin Obituary News: Beloved Resident Of St. Joseph, Missouri, Dara Griffin Passed Away

On February 12, 2024, Dara Sue Griffin, a citizen of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away.

We sincerely apologize and are breaking this news to you with heavy hearts. Her presence will be deeply missed by those who had the good fortune to know and love her.

Her brother Darrell Roberts, son Shawn Griffin, husband Robert “Rader Bob” Griffin, and parents Mildred and Glenn Roberts all passed away before her. The sole surviving member of Dara’s family was her.

The only remaining family members are her beloved grandsons Andrew, Jenndara, and Devin, and her daughter Jennifer Griffin (Tony Brettingham), who resides in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Tony Brettingham and Jennifer Griffin, her daughter, are wed.

A visitation honoring Dara’s life will be held at the Rupp Funeral Home on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The funeral home is located at 6054 Pryor Avenue, St. Joseph, Missouri 64504; also, the viewing will occur that same day.

A funeral service will be held at the same site on February 17, 2024, at ten in the morning. The Ashland Cemetery, located at 2324 Ashland Avenue, St. Joseph, Missouri 64506, in the city of St. Joseph, will have a service at the cemetery at eleven in the morning, just after the burial service.
