What Happened to Daniel Larocque?
The Lowell Police Department hired Deputy Larocque in 1994 after he had served five years as a police officer in Tyngsborough. He had previously been employed with the Lowell Police Department.
Throughout his time with the department, Deputy Larocque earned numerous accolades and citations for being a highly esteemed mentor to numerous officers and supervisors. He was appointed as the deputy superintendent of police on March 17, 2019, and he will leave his position in 2021.
Daniel served as an associate director of public safety at the Endicott College Department of Public Safety and Police after leaving the Lowell Police Department and continued there until his death.
Deputy Superintendent Larocque received a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement from Western New England College in 1998, as well as a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration in 1999.
Law enforcement was the field in which both degrees were obtained. In addition, Deputy Superintendent Larocque graduated from the Middlesex Community College alcohol and drug abuse counseling program in 2016 and received a Suffolk University diploma in public safety leadership and management in 2009.
