Damon Jackson, Jr. Obituary; Resident Of Darlington Succumbs To Injuries In Fatal Sunday Shooting Incident
Sad news broke in Darlington on Sunday, when a shooting incident claimed the life of 18-year-old Damon Jackson, Jr.
The victim’s identification was formally confirmed by Coroner J. Todd Hardee, who also revealed that the tragic incident happened on Meadowbrook Drive, which is located off of McIver Road. Sadly, the coroner declared Jackson dead at the scene around 5:30 a.m.
This tragic tragedy has been formally classed as a homicide by the Coroner. Detectives from the Darlington County sheriff’s office are aggressively looking into the shooting’s circumstances in conjunction with SLED.
Jackson’s sudden death is expected to be explained by an autopsy that will take place later this week at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).
The entire neighborhood is in mourning for Damon Jackson, Jr., and the authorities are determined to learn the truth about what transpired before this terrible event.
