Cullen Crook Obituary-Death News; Owner Of Crook’s Landscaping Company, Cullen Crook Passes Away

Cullen Crook, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, owner of Crook’s Landscaping Company, sadly passed away. On Thursday, January 25, 2024, he passed away at the age of 37.

The son of Roebuck, South Carolina residents Michael Brunson Crook and Luanne Daum Crook, he was born in Spartanburg on August 18, 1986. He and Beebe Hodge Crook tied the knot.

Cullen, an ardent follower of First Baptist Church-Spartanburg, worked as Park National Bank’s assistant vice president and manager of the banking center.

He also proudly owned Crook’s Landscaping Company for a considerable amount of time. Cullen finished his studies at Spartanburg Community College with success. He was well known for having a kind and sympathetic disposition, which made people like him.

His considerate actions, kind words, and sincere concern for other people’s welfare have made a lasting impression on coworkers, friends, and family. Perhaps Cullen’s unshakable commitment to his family best illustrates the depth of his love.

He has been a cherished spouse who has always been there for me, offering courage and support when I needed it.

His dedication to his spouse’s pleasure and well-being has produced a genuinely endearing home full of love, laughter, and security.

His compassionate nature reaches beyond his close friends and family, bringing joy and optimism to everyone in his path.

He is an inspiration to others around him because of his contagious positivity and capacity for joy in the little things in life.

Cullen is survived by his wife, Ivey C. Moyer (Zane), his paternal grandmother Shirley O’Shields Crook, and his two brothers, Coleman Crook (Brittney) and Michael Crook (Hannah).

His brother Chad Crook, his maternal grandmother Mildred Daum, his paternal grandfather Edward “Ed” Crook, and his maternal grandfather, the Rev. Thomas Daum, all predeceased him.

On Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 5-7 p.m., the family will host friends at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel.

The Revs. Britt Dillard and Seth Buckley will preside over a funeral ceremony at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Greenlawn Memorial Gardens will host a private funeral service afterward.
