Compton Fatal Shooting: Active Shooter, 5 Hurt, Suspect on Hoodie at Large in Compton, California

Compton Shooting: The authorities were looking for the shooter who carried out the Compton shooting on Thursday that sent five people to the hospital. At around 2:30 p.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officers were summoned to the 1000 block of Acacia Avenue in response to allegations of a fatal weapon attack and a victim with a gunshot wound.

Authorities reported finding five casualties at the scene; all were taken to the hospital, with four of them in stable condition and one critically injured. However, details were few and the exact sequence of events surrounding the shooting is still unclear. It’s also unclear whether any of the five victims had gunshot wounds.

One car parked in a driveway had two gunshot holes in its windshield, while another near the curb had a bullet wound in its back window. While the event was being looked into by the police, the area was blocked off.
