Colonel Kazimierz “Szron” Klimczak has reportedly passed away yesterday, July 14, 2023. He died at the age of 109. May his soul rest in peace.
Colonel Kazimierz was said to be born just months before WW1, he was one of the soldiers who fought against Germany in 1939, joined the military underground & then fought again in the 1944 Warsaw Uprising. May his soul rest in peace.
Colonel was a strong and a brave man, that has fought in wars and yet alive, he has served his country well and will be remembered for his great service. May his soul rest in peace.
His death is a heartbreak to many, as he was known as an absolutely amazing human being who passed away yesterday at the age of 109.
A twitter post stated that “Kazimierz Klimczak pseudonym “Szron.” During the occupation, he taught my grandfather how to shoot & how to be a soldier. RIP to this beautiful soul.” may his soul rest in peace.
