Cole Fitzgerald Obituary News: Washington Township Youth Football Coach, Cole Fitzgerald, Died from Cancer At 19

Cole Fitzgerald Obituary; Cole Patrick Fitzgerald, the coach of Washington Township Youth Football, passed away. Cole Patrick “Fightin” Fitzgerald bravely fought cancer for eighteen months, and on December 15, 2023, he passed away peacefully at home in the company of his cherished family. When he passed away, he was 19 years old.

Who was Cole Fitzgerald?

Cole In 2022, Patrick Fitzgerald earned an honors diploma from Washington Township High School. He served as a student assistant coach for Washington Township Youth Football and a coaching assistant at WTHS for four years.

The Cole Fitzgerald Most Inspirational Player Award is given out annually at the youth football and high school levels in recognition of his dedication to and support of both organizations.

Despite having severe disabilities and having survived Stage 4 neuroblastoma as a child, he was one of the first recipients of the People’s Choice Award at Bunker Hill Middle School. Cole was able to follow his dream of attending Temple University, a D1 football school, because of an amazing scholarship.
