Cody Ward Obituary: On Friday, authorities revealed that a police investigation was launched after the discovery of Cody Ward’s body at a property in Dallas. Ward, 34, was found deceased.

At around 4:15 p.m. on January 11, 2024, the Dallas Police Department promptly responded to a call in the 5100 block of Verde Valley Lane.

Cody Ward was discovered deceased inside the apartment upon the officers’ arrival at the scene. Based on the initial findings, it appears that Ward’s death was the result of a violent act.

The identity of the suspect or suspects remains undisclosed, and upon the arrival of law enforcement, they had already departed from the scene. The investigation is currently underway and has been thoroughly documented under case number 0005941-2024.

What Happened at Far North Dallas Home

Police are investigating a shooting on Verde Valley Lane in far north Dallas.

Investigators were called to Verde Valley Lane when they found 34-year-old Cody Ward dead inside a residence.

Dallas police say that Ward died from “homicidal violence.”

The police said that they do not have a suspect or suspects at this time.
