Christian Peterson Obituary News: Kalib Bostick and Christian Peterson killed In fatal Onslow County Shooting Incident

Following a shooting on Wednesday night that left two men from Onslow County dead and another injured, a 17-year-old was arrested and charged with murder, robbery with a firearm, and conspiracy to conduct robbery.

The deputies in charge of the case confirmed that the adolescent who was arrested is currently being held in secure custody. According to Onslow County Sheriff Chris Thomas, the incident happened at about 5:20 p.m. in the parking lot of 53 Mini Mart and Tobacco, which is situated at 3458 Burgaw Highway. The notion that the shooting occurred during a narcotics deal that turned into a robbery is the one that investigators are leaning toward.

The regrettable deaths were identified as Jacksonville, Florida, citizens Christian Peterson, 18, and Kalib Bostick, 19, years old. At the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, the third victim—whose name is yet unknown—is said to be in stable condition.

Wali Johnson, a 20-year-old Hubert resident, is accused of murder, armed robbery, and robbery conspiracy. He is currently detained without being granted bond. According to Sheriff Thomas, one victim was found dead in the parking lot, and the other perished tragically inside a car.
